Judaism is complicated! But we are here to help by offering a guided tour through the fundamentals of Jewish culture and religion.
Judaism 101 classes are perfect for anyone wanting to gain a broader understanding of the basics of Judaism from a progressive/liberal perspective. It is open to all and benefits interfaith couples, those raising Jewish children, spiritual seekers, individuals considering conversion, and others who want a meaningful adult Jewish learning experience.
The classes are designed to offer an appreciation and basic knowledge of some of the fundamentals of Judaism and enable the participants to more fully participate in the life of the Jewish community.
Topics include Shabbat and other holidays, life cycle celebrations, theology, Torah, TaNaKh, Talmud, history, mysticism, and more.
